Country house on the banks of the river, Reggello, Florence - Tuscany
Stone country house dating back to the 1500s, carefully restored to maintain its original appearance. Located on the banks of a stream in a protected and private place, it has been renamed as "the fairy house". The property is surrounded by greenery, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves that have attracted poets, writers and artists since the 18th century, when the English romantic poet William Wordsworth made the millennial Abbey of Vallombrosa and its fantastic forest (visited more times in recent years by Prince Charles). The garden, bordered by the river, offers numerous open spaces and glimpses in which to sit and relax surrounded by nature.
We can find an enchanting canopy overlooking the river, decorated on the model of a Medici villa. The barn attached to the house is a magical place for outdoor breakfasts and dinners. The millstone room is the special hiding place for snacks and wine tasting, in an atmosphere that takes you back to times gone by.
